SlateMate is an IIT Madras–backed startup building eRaksha, an AI-powered child digital safety and well-being platform. We operate at the intersection of child safety, AI, parents, schools, and real-world impact.

This role is for individuals who don't just want a certificate—but want to build something real from zero to market.

Role Description

As a Business Development & Strategy Intern, you will work directly with the founders to:

  • Design go-to-market (GTM) strategies
  • Implement strategies on the ground
  • Build real distribution channels for the eRaksha product
  • Engage with parents, schools, institutions, and partners

This is a hands-on execution role, not a desk-only internship.

Program Structure & CompensationPhase 1: Training (First 5 Days)
  • Introduction to SlateMate & eRaksha
  • Product understanding, target users, and GTM strategy
  • Founder-led sessions and real startup context
Phase 2: Boot Period (Next 30 Days)
  • Weekly, target-based execution
  • Real-world on-field and digital outreach
  • Direct application of GTM and distribution strategies
  • Regular reviews and feedback from founders

Compensation during internship:

This is an unpaid internship during the training and boot period.

The focus is on learning, execution, and real startup exposure.

Post-Internship Opportunity

After successful completion of the boot period, top performers may be offered a continued role with SlateMate, based on performance and availability:

  • ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (fixed salary) OR Commission-based model (candidate can choose the preferred option)
