Job Title: Business Development Senior Specialist Advisor

Location: India – Bangalore/Pune/Hyderabad/Chennai

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Business Development Senior Specialist Advisor to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business and solution development activities, with a strong focus on designing, solution architecting, implementing, and integrating SCADA and MES/MOM solutions with SAP/ERP or Microsoft Dynamics and other systems. This role requires travel to customer sites and collaboration with global teams on a need basis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business and solution development activities to drive growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Design, architect, implement, and integrate Ignition SCADA and MES/MOM solutions with SAP/ERP or Microsoft Dynamics and other systems.
  • Response to RFPs/RFQs and ownership of overall solution.
  • Understand the features and capabilities of various MES/MOM platforms and determine the optimal platforms based on objective assessment b
  • Manage end-to-end implementation of MES/MOM software such as Siemens OPCENTER, Delmia Apriso, FactoryTalk, etc.
  • MES/MOM implementation solutions to encompass Detailed Scheduling, Production operations, laboratory information management, tracking, traceability and genealogy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Adept in understanding the implied and explicit needs of customers and translating them into tangible and tailored solutions, meeting with their desired outcomes
  • Drive solutions design geared towards meeting manufacturing KPIs
  • Travel to customer sites as required to oversee project implementation and provide on-site support.
  • Work closely with global teams to ensure alignment and consistency in solution delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve solution offerings.

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 18-22 years of hands-on experience in designing, solution architecting, implementing, and integrating Ignition SCADA and MES/MOM solutions with SAP/ERP or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end implementation (minimum 2) of MES/MOM software such as Siemens OPCENTER, Delmia Apriso, FactoryTalk, etc. (any 1 software)
  • Strong understanding of SCADA, MES/MOM, and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of machine protocols such as OPC/UA OR DA, Modbus TCP/RTU
  • Experienced in designing and implementing OT/IT integration solutions with MQTT, REST, gRPC, SoAP etc.
  • Experience in scalable connectivity solutions through the usage and application of Apache Kafka, UNS, EMQX/Hive MQ broker
  • Experienced in design solutions using Azure/AWS cloud inclusive of VMs, Synapse pipelines, Databricks, Datafactory, Snowflake, Cosmos DB, SQL DB, AKS etc.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts, ports, VLANs/LANs, switches, DMZ/Firewalls etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with global teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.
  • Global experience is highly desirable.

    • Desirable Certifications:

  • Ignition SCADA Certification
  • Siemens OPCENTER OR Delmia Apriso Certification

    • Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other MES/MOM software and SCADA systems.
  • Knowledge of ISA 88, ISA 95 and ISA 99 industry standards and best practices.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
