Introduction

We’re hiring a Director of Business Development for our utilities client to join their team! You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing growth opportunities for the Corporation’s clean energy portfolio across Ontario. This role focuses on originating and advancing new generation projects as well as repowering, redeveloping, and acquiring generation assets. This opportunity is open to full-time permanent or full-time ongoing contract.

Responsibilities

• Identify, plan, and prepare business cases for new clean energy development opportunities, strategic partnerships, investments, acquisitions, and operation & maintenance services.
• Evaluate opportunities to repower or redevelop existing generation assets, including hydro and solar facilities, and other applicable assets within the Corporation’s portfolio.
