Devyani International Limited (DIL), one of India’s largest and fastest-growing QSR operators, is looking for a seasoned Business Finance Controller to drive financial strategy, performance management, and commercial decision support across our diverse portfolio of iconic brands.
Role Overview
As a key finance leader, you will partner closely with brand, operations, and functional leadership to strengthen P&L ownership, enhance profitability, and align business performance with enterprise-wide strategic objectives. This role blends strong controllership discipline with deep business partnering and FP&A expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AOP, forecasting, and long-range planning across brands and regions
- Own and manage the consolidated business P&L , ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Drive variance analysis, margin improvement, cost optimization, and ROI tracking
- Develop and monitor unit economics, same-store growth (SSG), and product profitability
- Provide performance insights and commentary for Board and investor reviews
- Partner with Operations, Marketing, HR, SCM, and Brand teams on key commercial decisions
- Evaluate financial viability of new store openings, expansions, and promotions
- Strengthen budgetary control, governance frameworks, and best-practice benchmarks
- Drive automation and analytics using SAP, Tableau, BI tools, and dashboards
- Lead and develop high-performing business finance teams
Qualifications & Experience
- CA/ MBA
- 10-15 years of experience in Business Finance / FP&A / Commercial Finance
- Strong experience partnering with senior business leaders in large or listed organizations
- Exposure to QSR, retail, FMCG, or consumer-facing industries preferred
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence at senior leadership levels
