Roles and Responsibilities

  • Good understanding of credit policy and data analytics regarding retail lending business
  • Candidate with expertise in data analysis and visualization of data
  • Manage the development and maintenance of business intelligence reports and dashboards for the retail lending business
  • Lead a team of analysts responsible for data analysis and MIS reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the retail lending business to identify and prioritize data needs
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy through regular monitoring and maintenance
  • Identify opportunities to optimize data collection, storage, and analysis processes
  • Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for business growth and risk control
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Provide strategic guidance on data-driven business decisions
  • Calculation and periodical recon of PD / LGD / EAD and ECL allowance
  • Incentive calculation of Credit / Collections / Sales unit on periodical basis
  • Strong analytical and dispute resolution skills. Ability to make independent decisions with a strong sense of empowerment and leadership skills to command the respect of a cross functional set of professionals at senior level (internal and external) working in open ended situations.
  • Digital exposure should be preferred. Should have looked at scale and complexities.
  • To assess the credit risk and adopt suitable course corrections and give feedback to central policy and underwriting team for preventive actions
  • Establishing robust monitoring mechanisms such as Early Warning Signals, real-time monitoring for all credit products.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of information to relevant stakeholders, which includes top management, regulators and rating agencies.
  • Proactive research about new markets – product / geography / segment on external data
  • Periodical scrub of borrower data on credit bureau performance
