Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
Guadalajara, Mexico ( hybrid 2days /week)
Contractor
We are seeking an experienced BI Developer to help us migrate and modernize our existing business intelligence dashboards. The primary responsibility will be to review our current dashboards built in Metabase, audit and understand the underlying SQL queries, and rebuild the dashboards in a new visualization tool (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau - specify if you have a preference). The developer must also ensure that all queries are updated to reference new Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery tables as part of our data infrastructure upgrade.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and analyze existing Metabase dashboards and the SQL queries powering them. (At least 3 years of exp in SQL)
- Understand business logic behind each dashboard element and metric.
- Migrate dashboards to a new BI tool (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) with improved visualizations where applicable.
