Job Description
• A minimum of 7 years Experience in an IT leadership role with at least five years in Business Intelligence and Analytics. Experience in an established consulting firm is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI (or similar tools), Azure, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and relational databases is necessary.
• Self-starter, experienced working in a dynamic environment with proven delivery success.
• Experience with Finance terms and concepts.
• Demonstrated experience managing complexes BI projects such as the implementation of data warehouses, data marts, reporting, and visualization solutions.
• Provide oversight and direction to team members on day-to-day operational tasks.
• Plan and allocate resources to virtually staff and deliver value-based data solutions in alignment with business needs and departmental goals.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and unity among team members that allows different points of view, understanding, and appreciation of diversity, and working effectively to enable individual and department success.
• Lead complex BI projects from inception to delivery. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor deliverables, and provide status updates.
• Provide support for existing applications and services provided by the Data Insights & Analytics team.
• Lead Demand Management meetings with business partners and stakeholders to determine priority and set user expectations.
• Plan, evaluate, and improve departmental processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with various teams across IT for alignment on processes, strategies, architectural designs, roadmaps, priorities, and resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with key business partners and Business Relationship Managers.
