Business Intelligence Specialist
.
This role has a direct impact on strategic business decision-making and contributes to improving patients' lives through advanced business intelligence and data analytics.
Position Objective
To generate advanced analyses, strategic insights, and Business Intelligence models from large volumes of internal data (sales, marketing, supply chain, finance) and external data (market audits, competition, therapeutic and regulatory trends), primarily focused on high-specialty therapeutic areas, enabling data-driven commercial and marketing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze the pharmaceutical market across high-specialty and regular product lines.
- Develop competitive intelligence analyses: product launches, pipeline, pricing, market access, and market share.
- Design and maintain executive dashboards in Power BI and strategic reports for Commercial and Marketing leadership.
- Analyze pharmaceutical market audits: IQVIA (ATV, DDD), Close Up, Sell-In / Sell-Out.
- Perform trend modeling, demand forecasting, and performance analysis by territory, key account, and medical specialty.
- Provide analytical support to market access strategies, KAM, specialized sales forces, and pricing initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and traceability.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (completed degree required).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (required).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, database management).
- BI and programming tools: SQL and Power BI (knowledge of DAX and ETL processes is a plus).
- Experience working with pharmaceutical audits: IQVIA, ATV, DDD, Close Up.
- Knowledge of applied statistics and basic predictive analytics.
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative healthcare market research.
