Job Description: Project Coordinator/Business Engagement Manager

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: 10 Years

Job Type: Contract to Hire (Hiring on Client Payroll)

Salary Range: 16 – 20 LPA


Role Overview

Our Client, a Global Big 4 consulting and accounting firm is recruiting a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator/ Business Engagement Manager . The Project Coordinator/ Business Engagement Manager will drive strategic coordination and execution of high-impact business engagement initiatives while serving as a trusted operational partner to senior leadership. This role bridges business objectives with operational excellence, managing complex stakeholder ecosystems, executive-level engagements, and cross-functional initiatives. The individual will function as a strategic integrator, enabling seamless collaboration across internal and external stakeholders while maintaining organizational credibility and delivering measurable business outcomes.


Key Results & Accountabilities

1. Executive & Strategic Business Engagement Leadership

·        Partner with senior business leaders in planning and executing enterprise-level business engagement strategies

and initiatives

·        Serve as the primary liaison between C-suite executives, business units, external partners, and key stakeholders

·        Develop executive-ready presentations, strategic briefs, and stakeholder communication materials

·        Facilitate high-level discussions and negotiations between business teams, partners, and leadership

·        Manage engagement calendars and executive accessibility while protecting leadership bandwidth


2. Senior Leadership Visit & Executive Relations Management

·        Coordinate and execute complex executive visits, board-level interactions, investor meetings, and strategic

partner engagements

·        Develop comprehensive briefing packages, strategic agendas, and intelligence reports for executive

engagements

·        Orchestrate all logistics for C-suite visits, ensuring flawless execution and positive stakeholder experience

·        Coordinate transportation, accommodation, security protocols, meeting spaces, and technical infrastructure for

senior leadership movements

·        Oversee town halls, investor briefings, strategic workshops, and high-stakes networking events

·        Manage executive protocol and stakeholder expectations at all touchpoints


3. Strategic Operations & Vendor Partnership Management

·        Own end-to-end logistics and operational management for strategic business engagements, retreats, and major

corporate events

·        Ensure optimal utilization of resources—meeting facilities, AV technology, catering, and premium services

·        Build and maintain vendor partnerships; manage procurement, contracts, and performance standards

·        Develop and manage engagement budgets; track ROI and demonstrate cost efficiency

·        Implement vendor scorecards and performance metrics to ensure quality and reliability

·        Negotiate terms and manage vendor relationships to achieve organizational objectives


4. Strategic Stakeholder Management & Communication

·        Act as the operational and strategic integrator between business operations, corporate functions, and external

ecosystem

·        Maintain proactive communication and relationship management with key stakeholders

·        Develop and execute engagement communication strategies and stakeholder outreach plans

·        Prepare engagement dashboards, stakeholder feedback analysis, and performance metrics for leadership review

·        Support internal teams with engagement governance, approvals, compliance, and risk management

·        Identify and escalate issues that impact business relationships or strategic objectives


5. Process Optimization & Strategic Initiative Development

·        Lead continuous improvement initiatives across engagement management, visit coordination, and operational

processes

·        Design and implement best-practice methodologies and governance frameworks for business engagement

·        Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and playbooks for engagement execution

·        Build engagement management systems and tools to enhance visibility and efficiency

·        Track engagement outcomes and provide insights on partnership effectiveness and growth opportunities

·        Champion organizational learning and best practice sharing across business units


Education & Certifications

·        Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Business Communications, Corporate

Affairs, or related field (MBA or advanced certification preferred)

·        PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM, or advanced event/stakeholder management certification

(preferred)

·        Executive assistant certification or advanced professional development program (preferred but not mandatory)


Experience Required

7-10+ years of progressive experience in:

·        Business operations, business engagement, or strategic coordination roles

·        Executive assistant, executive relations, or senior leadership support roles

·        Stakeholder management, vendor partnership, and partner engagement at enterprise level

·        Project management, program coordination, or organizational planning

·        C-suite engagement, corporate affairs, or business development environments

Additional Requirements:

·        Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent high-priority initiatives

·        Proven track record supporting senior business leaders and C-suite executives

·        Experience managing complex logistics, vendor partnerships, and event execution at scale

·        Background in financial management, budget ownership, and procurement operations

·        Experience in regulated or matrix organizational environments

·        Exposure to corporate governance, compliance, and risk management processes
