Role Overview

The Business Strategy Associate will work directly with the Directors of Ethera Diamonds and play a key role in strategic planning, business analysis, and execution of high-impact initiatives . This role is ideal for an IIT graduate who wants first-hand exposure to leadership decision-making and end-to-end business operations in a fast-growing premium jewellery brand. This is a leadership-track role , going beyond traditional executive support, with strong involvement in strategy formulation, cross-functional coordination, and performance tracking .

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Support Directors in developing and executing short-term and long-term business strategies .
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and growth opportunity assessments.
• Prepare business plans, strategy decks, and analytical notes for leadership reviews.
• Track progress of strategic initiatives and flag risks, gaps, and improvement areas.

Director’s Office & Execution

• Act as a bridge between the Directors and internal teams to ensure timely execution of priorities.
• Convert leadership decisions into structured action plans with defined milestones.
• Follow up with functional heads on critical initiatives and deliverables.
• Support leadership meetings through agenda preparation, data collation, and action tracking.

Cross-Functional Projects

• Work closely with Retail, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Drive special projects such as store launches, process improvements, cost optimization, and system implementation .
• Assist in designing SOPs, MIS frameworks, and performance dashboards.

Analytics & MIS

• Analyze sales, margins, inventory, and operational data to support decision-making.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports and present insights to the Directors.
• Support scenario analysis, forecasting, and performance benchmarking.

Confidential & Strategic Support

• Handle sensitive business information with discretion and professionalism.
• Represent the Director’s office in internal discussions when required.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Graduate/Postgraduate from IIT (Engineering / Technology / Management preferred).

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, startups, analytics, or fast-growth environments.
• High-potential freshers with strong internships, case competitions, or leadership exposure will be considered.
