Job Title - Financial Business Systems Analyst
Location - Toronto- 3 days/ week
Our Data Platform is a cross‑asset pricing and risk management platform. The Data Platform team maintains the strategic storage and compute infrastructure that powers numerous business‑aligned products across Capital Markets. The platform is responsible for the applications and APIs that deliver Trade, Market Data, and Reference Data in real time.
We pride ourselves on working backward from customer needs and leveraging modern, open‑source technologies to deliver a scalable ecosystem built on microservices.
Key Technologies
- Java, Scala, and Python for general-purpose and data engineering development
- ZeroMQ, raw sockets, and web sockets for remoting and communication
- Apache Cassandra and other distributed databases for high-availability storage
- Streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka for event-driven pipelines
