Job Description
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: The position is the custodian of the grand vision of the scaling up digital solutions and the use of data in WFP Uganda programmes and operations. The incumbent shall be responsible for initiating projects, requirements gathering, and project coordination for the delivery of digital and data solutions. They will aim to maximize the value brought by IT digital solutions by proactively seeking and understanding business and end-user requirements. They will coordinate and prioritize the work to be done to realise these solutions. The position aims for IT digital and data solutions which achieve the highest quality in terms of technical usability, user acceptability, and domain suitability.
KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute towards the development of a wide variety of Technology (TEC) projects, plans, and processes, ensuring alignment with wider programme strategy, policies, and digital transformation agenda.
