Responsibilities

Liase with customer to get orders and the required shipment plan.

Check material availability and confirm status.

Plan production schedule; liaise with production and support to meet the ship plan.

Commit ship plan to customer.

Address production, material and customer issues.

Evaluate and appraise the resources—raw materials, machines, manpower—required for production and plan to achieve maximum efficiency and continuous operation.

Ensure the needs of the customer are being met.

Achieve coordination among various departments relating to production.

Receive loading plan from customer and analyze the loading versus capacity using the standard capacity worksheet.
