Overview

Involves in sourcing & purchasing of materials and equipment, tools and consumables required for maintenance repair and operations of the company.

Responsibilities

• Managing the sale of scrap materials including identifying potential buyers, negotiating sales agreements, managing logistics arrangements and maximizing the scrap value to generate revenue for the factory.
• Daily tasks include identifying suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier business relationships, ensuring on-time delivery, and optimizing inventory and purchases to minimize cost while maintaining operation efficiency.
• Also requires tracking factory spends on commodity related items, analyzing market trends and implementing cost-saving strategies.
• Willing to station/travel to Batu Kawan Factory for support as and when required.
