Job Description

High Security manufacturer is looking to recruit an Assistant Buyer. Experience within a manufacturing or engineering field. Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for securing the supply of parts. Negotiation and communication with suppliers.

Specific duties of the Assistant Buyer include:

Manage Purchase Order process - raise, place and chase.

Keeping track on stock levels and order when low

Assist with internal budget control

Monitoring outstanding orders and chasing suppliers

Manage cost prices and negotiations with suppliers

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages

Have a good cost price negotiation experience

Strong communication and listening skills

Ability to work under pressure.

Always presents a professional image.

Working Hours: 9am-5.30pm or 8:30am-5:00 pm Monday to Friday
