Buyer

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work with engineers to manage purchase requisitions
- Work with buyers to manage purchase orders
- Work with project manager/planners to define and track project materials
- Interface with suppliers (machine and sheet metal shops, electrical components) for quotation requests and material status
- Track build status, ship schedules and escalate shortages or delays vs plan
- Coordinate with carriers for most effective shipment of components
- Support NPI sourcing on supplier discovery, commodity business plan, and strategy development/execution
**Requirements**:
- Working knowledge of Excel and MS Outlook
- Basic knowledge of SAP or Oracle preferred
- Experience with logistics and material procurement
- English speaking and writing required, Mandarin, German and/or Korean preferred
- Experience in purchasing and/or material planning
- Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
**Job Type**: Contract
**Salary**: $122.00 - $262.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
