Job Title: Contract Specialist

Job Description

The Subcontract Specialist will support the Light Capabilities stream of the LVM Logistic Vehicle Modernization program. This role involves sourcing and coordinating thousands of smaller components from multiple suppliers, acting as the link between suppliers, the program team, scheduling, engineering design, and purchasing execution. The position is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension or growth into other roles.

Responsibilities





+ Source new commodities such as mini-home components, flexible electrical systems, furniture, structural/metal work, and off-the-shelf items.



+ Work with pre-vetted and new suppliers, support onboarding and qualification.



+ Participate in contract negotiations, review payment status, lead times, and supplier performance.
