Job Description
The Production Planner is responsible for the strategic development and execution of production schedules for all products assembled in the U.S., as well as overseeing kitting operations to effectively meet customer demand.
**Responsibility Level**:
The Production Planner will ensure that production schedules align with customer orders, efficiently manage resources, and maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing costs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct detailed analysis of build requirements prior to finalizing production schedules based on business needs.
- Monitor and track customer orders, providing timely reports on overdue items by business segment.
- Communicate shortages to relevant stakeholders, including plants and buyers, while maintaining stock transfer orders (STOs) for sub-assemblies.
- Generate and report on schedule attainment metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
