Job Description:

Blue Yonder/JDA WMS Developer (Warehouse Management System ) focuses on implementing , customizing , and maintaining the Blue Yonder WMS solution to optimize warehouse operations. This involves strong knowledge of the WMS software , warehouse processes, and integration capabilities. Works w/ logistics teams to streamline inventory, order fulfillment, and overall warehouse workflows.

1. focusing on modernizing software houses & automating distribution centers .
2. Upgrading regional distribution centers to a SaaS platform , with a roadmap for the next four years.
3. The role involves working on WMS, LMS, OMS, focusing on integration to TMS and other systems.
4. WMS expert with integration knowledge to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
5. The candidates with SaaS implementation experience, PDC Architecture, most latest version of BY hands on experience, skill set on integration in BY EcoSystems like TMS,LDE,WMS integrations.

Technical & Functional skills REQUIRED

1. SaaS systems, cloud , integration Lead WMS, TMS, OMS, KAFKA, from technical and functional side, PDC in BY, BY TMS, LDE, BYDM
2. Pick stealing, opportunistic pick, batch picking, bulk picking, optimize inbound trailer time and travel sequence.
3. Traffic plan, Distro Order, cross dock, background workflows
4. forward pick face, Master Data Push and HRL Integration, dock doors, door optimization , parcel integration, cottonization, case picking

Key Responsibilities:

System Configuration & Implementation:

Setting up and configuring BY/JDA WMS to align with specific warehouse requirements.

Customization and Development:

Develops custom solutions, integrations, reports using MOCA, SQL, PL/SQL , Java .

Integration:

Integrating the WMS with other systems - ERP, TMS , automation systems (pick-to-light, etc.).

Troubleshooting and Support:

Diagnosing and resolving system issues, performance problems, and user support requests.

Process Optimization:

Identifying areas for improvement in warehouse processes and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Training / Documentation:

Providing training to end-users and creating documentation for system configuration and usage.

Required:

1. Blue Yonder WMS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS modules and functionalities.
2. Technical: Strong coding MOCA, SQL, PL/SQL, Java , and potentially Jasper or Page Builder reports.
3. Integration: Experience with Kafka, SFTP, flat files, REST APIs.
4. Warehouse Operations: Understanding of warehouse processes/ picking, packing, shipping, inventory management.
5. BY/JDA WMS developer will integrate TMS, bridge gaps between the software and physical warehouse operations , ensuring system effectively supports, optimizes the business needs.
