Our client, a prominent company in the power utilities and power distribution sector, is currently seeking an SSE Authorised Cable Jointer to join their team. This permanent position is pivotal for projects involving asset replacement and maintenances at 33kV and 11kV voltage levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing cable jointing tasks, focusing on asset replacement and maintenance
Working on 33kV and 11kV voltage levels, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols
Ensuring all work complies with SSE authorisation and relevant regulations
Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless project delivery
Maintaining up-to-date records of work completed and required documentation
Driving and maintaining the provided van and using the fuel card for work-related travel
Ensuring safe and proper use of tools and equipment provided
