Cable Technician I (Level 1)Overview
We are looking for a Cable Technician I who is eager to learn and grow within the structured cabling and low-voltage industry. This role supports installation crews and assists with cable pulling, terminations, labeling, and basic troubleshooting under the direction of senior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
+ Pull, route, and secure CAT5/CAT6 and low-voltage cabling.
+ Assist with terminating copper cabling under supervision.
+ Help install ladder racks, J-hooks, cable trays, and cable support systems.
+ Label cables, pathways, and equipment per project standards.
+ Assist Level 2 and Lead Technicians with closet buildouts and device installs.
+ Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
+ Follow all company safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
