Job Description

Responsibilities:Creating 2D and 3D Drawings: Generate detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical, electrical, architectural, or other components and assemblies based on sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions from engineers and designers.Modifying Existing Drawings: Revise and update existing CAD drawings and models based on engineering change orders (ECOs) or markups, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation of changes.Adhering to Drafting Standards: Ensure all drawings and models comply with relevant industry standards, company drafting standards, and regulatory requirements.Maintaining Drawing Libraries: Organize and maintain an accurate and up-to-date library of CAD drawings and related documents.Preparing Bill of Materials (BOMs): Generate accurate Bills of Materials from CAD models and drawings.Collaboration with Engineers and Designers: Work closely with engineers and designers to clarify design details, resolve discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings.Plotting and Printing Drawings: Prepare and plot or print technical drawings in various formats and scales as required.Data Management: Manage and organize CAD files and related data effectively.Software Proficiency: Maintain proficiency in the required CAD software (., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor) and stay updated with software updates and new features.Quality Checks: Perform self-checks and participate in peer reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.Communication (Local Emphasis): Communicate effectively with engineers, designers, and potentially shop floor personnel regarding drawing details and revisions in Marathi and Hindi. Basic English may be required for understanding technical documentation or communication with global teams.Supporting Engineering Projects: Assist engineers and designers with various drafting and design-related tasks as needed.
