CAD Specialist

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely completion of CAD drawings for all assigned projects.
• In-charge of all CAD project documentation (both soft and hard copies) for reference and future use.
• Carefully study the design sketches, notes and other relevant material received from the design engineer / Cad Manager and carry out all instructions given.
• Bring to the Design Engineer’s attention any item that is not clear, does not seem to be correct or is worthy of discussion.
• Plan the design drawings by determining what details and information need to be placed on each sheet, the scale to be used, the number of sheets required and the sequence of the sheets. Discuss this with the CAD Manager and get approval.
• Ensure the latest road alignment / 3D model, etc. is being used as a base for developing the drawings.
