Job Description
We are currently hiring a CAD/BIM Technician to join our growing design team based in our Head Office in Kilcolgan, Galway. This role is available for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
Model and Drawing Production: Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and BIM models for utility systems (e.g., wastewater treatment, pumping stations, pipe networks, electrical infrastructure) from preliminary concepts, sketches, and engineering calculations.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, surveyors, and other team members to understand design requirements and integrate different design components into a cohesive model, performing clash detection as needed (using tools like Autodesk Navisworks).
Documentation and Standards: Ensure all work is compliant with relevant industry standards (e.g., specific utility standards, health and safety regulations, BIM protocols like ISO 19650/BS 1192) and internal qualit...
