Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CAM programming for mills and lathes in 4 & 5-axis machines.
  • Create new and edit/modify existing NC programs using NX12 software.
  • Create 3D solid models.
  • Able to interpret CAD drawings and consider processes required.
  • Identify & design work holding/ fixturing, as needed.
  • Identify and apply appropriate tooling based on material types, equipment considerations, cutting conditions, etc.
  • Maintain tooling database and inventory.
  • Troubleshoot issues.
  • Any other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior.
