Job Description: CAE Engineer


Experience: 2–3 Years

Location: Bangalore

CTC: Up to 4.5 LPA


Tools & Software

  • FEA/CAE Tools :
  • ANSYS (Mechanical, Workbench, APDL)
  • Abaqus / HyperWorks (OptiStruct, Radioss)
  • Nastran / Patran
  • Pre/Post Processing :
  • HyperMesh, ANSA

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform FEA/CAE simulations including:
  • Linear & nonlinear static analysis
  • Modal, harmonic, and transient dynamic analysis
  • Thermal & thermo-mechanical analysis
  • Fatigue and durability analysis
  • Prepare CAE models :
  • Geometry cleanup and simplification
  • Meshing (2D/3D, shell/solid elements)
  • Material property definition and boundary conditions
  • Validate designs against:
  • Strength, stiffness, fatigue, vibration, and thermal requirements
  • Industry standards (ISO, ASME, ASTM, OEM standards)
  • Correlate simulation results with test data and propose design improvements
  • Work closely with design, testing, and manufacturing teams
  • Prepare CAE reports and present findings to stakeholders
  • Support design optimization , weight reduction, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Automate repetitive CAE tasks using Python/MATLAB (good to have)
