Role Title- CAE Engineer - Model Build and Integration

Tools - Hypermesh, Ansa, Primer

Exp – 12+

Education -Bachelors/Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field

Detailed JD

·Good understanding of the knowledge of finite element analysis. Good communication, report writing, technical documentation and presentation skills.

·He/ She should have good Hands on experience on Hyper mesh, ANSA, Pimer

·Good Experience in Meshing (pre-processing) and model build support to CAE group for various components or sub-systems.

·He/ She should have strong knowledge in meshing BIW and plastic parts.

·He/ She should have strong knowledge in solid exa/Tetra meshing for solid parts.

·He/ She should have good experience in model built and assembly for BIW/ Closures / Engine/ Powertrain /Suspension / Interiors and exteriors from crash, Durability and NVH domain prospective.

·Knowledge of Abaqus, Nastran, LS Dyna and primer will be added advantage.

·He/ She should update domain specific existing reference meshed model based on relevant changes as per CAD data.

·He/ She should be able to update the thickness and material based on BOM.

·He/ She should be able to cross check connectivity, attachments, spot-welds, adhesives etc. as per CAD data for each sub-system model.

·He/ She should perform domain specific pre-processing checks and deliver the model to the client. ·

·He/ She should perform debug zero mili-second/Modal run to make sure final deliverables are error free.

·He/ She would be responsible for project execution within the schedule and efforts estimated for programs using Hypermesh, Ansa and Primer.

·He/ She would be responsible for Interaction with the internal/ External customer for requirements clarifications.

·He/ She would be responsible for checking the deliverables prior to delivery to the client.

·He/ She would be responsible for guiding team members to perform the identified tasks.
