Performing analytical and numerical calculations on strength, underwater shock and vibrations Design of systems with elastic bearings Preparation of verifications and evaluation of verifications from external service providers and suppliers Coordinating requirements with stakeholders from projects and suppliers Creation of test specifications and other documents for the performance of experimental shock resistance tests Document management and management of approval processes Interface clarification with other specialist departments from design and production Technical clarification, coordination and agreement with suppliers, testing authorities and customer representatives Your profile
Completed studies (Diploma/Master) in the field of mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, civil engineering or comparable Professional experience as a calculation engineer desirable Experience in the areas of shipbuilding, naval shipbuilding or defense technology desirable Sound knowledge of technical mechanics and dynamics Experience in the application of calculation rules and classification regulations Knowledge of working with an FEM application, preferably ANSYS or HyperWorks Experience in the field of rigid body simulation, ideally with SIMPACK Confident handling of Office applications and Siemens Teamcenter Very good written and spoken German and English skills Ability to work independently
