Calibration Coordinator
12‑month fixed‑term contract | Based in Tatura, Vic
The Role
Our Tatura site is an iconic leader in the dairy industry, producing a wide range of products. As Calibration Coordinator, you will ensure the accuracy and reliability of rapid analytical instrumentation, with a focus on infrared spectroscopy equipment used to measure and monitor product composition.
Responsibilities
- Lead scheduled calibrations of cutting‑edge analytical instruments, with a focus on infrared spectroscopy (FT‑NIR, FT‑IR, NIR)
- Own the full lifecycle of instrumentation from procurement to replacement
- Act as the go‑to expert for spectroscopy equipment, providing hands‑on troubleshooting and technical support
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and key regulations such as ISO and food safety
- Monitor performance metrics to keep instruments running smoothly and efficiently
About you
- Post‑secondary education in Laboratory Techniques, Food Science, Chemistry or Engineering
- Experience with data analysis and statistical process control
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Proficiency in the use of data management systems and information technology
- Experience in the food or dairy industry is highly desirable
