Overview
As a Calibration Technician at MKS Malaysia, you will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Service to oversee the calibration program for all measurement and test equipment (M&TE) used in the manufacturing and inspection and repair of complex electromechanical devices. In this role, you will report to the Quality Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and maintaining the site-wide calibration program in compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and customer requirements.
- Ensuring all M&TE is calibrated on schedule and traceable to NMIM or equivalent standards.
- Maintaining calibration records in database(s) and ensure audit readiness.
- Establishing and monitoring calibration intervals based on usage, risk, and historical data.
- Managing relationships with external calibration service providers and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards (ISO/IEC 17025).
