Who should apply

We are not looking for general translators, freelancers, or content writers. We are looking for the top 1% of music academics and practitioners deeply grounded in Indian music traditions.

You should meet most or all of the following:

• Native fluency in Telugu (reading and writing)
• Strong command of English (for prompt interpretation and evaluation)
• Deep academic, professional, or research expertise in Indian music traditions and contemporary practices, such as:

- Hindustani classical music (khayal, dhrupad, gharana traditions)

- Carnatic classical music (kriti traditions, raga–tala systems, compositional forms)
