We are pleased to advertise a new and exciting post of CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner working within City of York Youth Justice Service (YJS).

This will focus on early intervention and ensuring that groups of vulnerable children and young people have access to mental health advice and support. Mental health input will comprise of providing mental health assessments and brief psychotherapeutic interventions and assisting in navigating local mental health systems for children and young people who are involved with the YJS. The role will also involve providing advice, training and consultation to other members of YJS, parent(s) / carer(s) and other agencies.

The post will be 0.6 WTE and will be based primarily with YJS at Moor Lane Youth Centre, York.
