Harwell Campus is the UK's leading Science and Innovation Campus, and home to some of the world's most innovative businesses and scientific facilities. As a 50:50 Joint Venture (JV) between ARC and the UK Government (specifically the Science and Technology Facilities Council and the UK Atomic Energy Authority) it's purpose is to attract the investment and infrastructure required to support the ongoing development and expansion of Harwell Campus as a world class centre for scientific research and innovation.

As JV partner, ARC is responsible for the management and development of the Campus as a whole. This includes buildings that are owned by the JV as well as facilities that are owned and managed by public sector partners like the European Space Agency, Science and Technology Facilities Council and Diamond Light Source.
