We're seeking a Certified Stick Welder to join our Winnipeg area- Argyle-based CNC machine shop specializing in railway component fabrication. In this role, you'll work with heavy-duty steel, collaborate with a talented team, and help build components that keep Canada's rail systems moving.
Applicants must be able to work from the Winnipeg/Argyle area.Face-to-face interview required.
What You'll Do
Perform SMAW and MIG welding on steel components for railway applications.
Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings with precision.
Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect welds to ensure compliance with CWB/Red Seal standards.
Collaborate with CNC machinists and fabricators to maintain production flow.
