Position Summary: The Relief Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations.

What You'll Do:

1. Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
2. Develop strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders.
3. Accept prescriptions and refill requests from Customers, Doctors, or Hospitals.
4. Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
5. Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
6. Follow OBWs/SOPs and operate all pharmacy equipment responsibly.
7. Protect patient privacy and adhere to provincial regulations.
8. Provide eligible services such as medication reviews and injections.
9. Travel to various locations as per schedule set by the Relief program coordinator.
10. Build collaborative relationships with other healthcare providers within the store.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age 16 or older
• Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
