Required

Master’s degree in English or 18 graduate hours in English.
Classroom teaching experience.

Preferred PHD and prior University teaching experience.
Dual-credit teaching experience.
Blackboard experience. Primary Responsibilities SRSU seeks qualified, adjunct/part-time instructors to teach dual-credit students enrolled in freshman– and sophomore-level university courses in English.

Teach face to face.

Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material

Use an institutional course syllabus and textbook for each course, following established institutional guidelines

Evaluates students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and informs students in a timely manner of their progress

Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.

Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
