Role Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented and proactive professionals to join our Supply Chain – Procurement / Purchase team. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement processes, vendor relationships, and material planning to ensure smooth supply chain operations for consumer appliance components.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement and purchase operations for mechanical and electrical components.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Issue RFQs, quotations, and purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up for material deliveries.
Negotiate with suppliers on commercial terms, pricing, and lead times.
Collaborate with production, planning, and quality teams for seamless material availability.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics for timely inbound flow.
Conduct cost analysis, support cost optimization initiatives, and track price trends.
Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and audit requirements.
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor performance.
Support sourcing and new product development (NPD) initiatives as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
Background in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain within Consumer Appliances or Tier-I OEM setups.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost structures.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Zoho), and data handling.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, and supplier ecosystems.
Strong coordination skills and ability to work under tight schedules.
