Job Description
- Operation of Equipment : Operate semi-automatic or automatic capsule filling machines (e.g., Bosch, MG2, Capsugel) to fill capsules with precise amounts of powdered or granulated pharmaceutical product, ensuring all machine parameters are within quality specifications (1).
- Quality Control and Compliance : Perform in-process quality checks (e.g., weight checks, visual inspections, metal detection) at specified intervals and strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety guidelines (1, 2).
- Machine Maintenance and Setup : Execute machine setup, changeovers for different capsule sizes/products, and perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance of the equipment and surrounding production area (1, 3).
