Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technician with strong expertise in Interventional Radiology (IR), to support advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-volume, combo IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP lab. This contract position is based in Lexington, NC, and offers a schedule of five 8-hour day shifts per week, providing a consistent work routine. Key Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology settings Proficient in scrubbing, circulating, and telemetry monitoring during IR and cardiology procedures Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCISP IR experience constituting approximately 90% of role duties Preferred additional certifications: ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with relevant medical experience Skills in EKG lead placement a plus Experience with complex device implants such as pacemakers (PPM) and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD) Work Schedule and Responsibilities: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM On-call duties twice per week (evenings) and one weekend call per month, with clear callback time requirements for urgent STEMI and IR cases Direct patient assistance during diagnostic and interventional procedures, primarily serving adults and geriatrics Not responsible for medication administration; carried out by nursing staff No float requirements; weekend shifts scheduled every third weekend Immediate start on unit Mondays with mandatory Dimensions training Lab and Equipment: Personnel will work in a technologically advanced environment utilizing equipment such as GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, and various atherectomy and closure devices.
