Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with experience in imaging and vascular procedures at a Level III Trauma Teaching Hospital. This contract position requires a professional capable of working independently in a fast-paced blended lab environment including Cath, EP, and Vascular services. You will play a vital role in supporting critical cardiac and vascular interventions within a 457-bed facility recognized for its excellence in Chest Pain, Stroke, and Bariatric Care. Responsibilities: Circulate and monitor patients during cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures. Apply strong IV skills and sterile technique in a blended lab setting. Titrate medications including pressors and interpret cardiac rhythms. Respond effectively to emergencies and code situations. Utilize EPIC electronic medical records, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Philips monitors. Participate in a dedicated vascular call team with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Qualifications: Active RN license with at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience; first-time travelers are welcome. BLS and ACLS certification required. Experience in a Cath/EP/Vascular blended lab. Proficient with EPIC EMR. Ability to function independently and collaborate within Cath Lab leadership. Schedule & Location: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This role is based in Monroe, NC, a growing community with a welcoming atmosphere, combining small-town charm with easy access to metropolitan amenities. Monroe offers a balance of historic landmarks, local dining, and beautiful parks, making it a desirable place to live and work. Additional Information: Free parking provided. Scrubs supplied. Orientation includes 2 departmental days and 1 unit day with EPIC training. Call back response times vary by team. Travelers expected to work 75% of holidays. Manager-approved return to office policy.
