Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab RN skilled in imaging and cardiovascular procedures to provide critical support in a dynamic cardiac care environment. This contract position involves 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a schedule designed for work-life balance. Responsibilities include circulating and monitoring during cath lab procedures, functioning independently in complex cases, titrating medications including pressors, and interpreting cardiac rhythms. Candidates will work within a blended lab setting covering Cath, EP, and Vascular labs and participate in a dedicated vascular call team. Compliance with sterile technique and readiness to respond to emergency codes are essential. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience; first-time travelers are welcome. Registered Nurse (RN) with current BLS and ACLS certifications. Proficient in EPIC EMR system and experience with sterile technique. Strong IV skills and ability to manage a variety of vascular interventions. Comfortable working with multiple imaging and monitoring technologies, including Philips monitors, Siemens X-ray, and Merge Hemo systems. Location:Position is based in Salisbury, North Carolina, a charming city known for its rich history and vibrant community atmosphere. Salisbury offers a mix of cultural attractions and outdoor recreational activities, with convenient access to larger metropolitan areas. Additional Details: 12 beds in prep/recovery, plus Cath Lab, Vascular Lab, and EP Lab units. Trauma Level III teaching hospital with centers of excellence in chest pain, stroke, and bariatrics. Orientation includes system training and departmental integration. Free parking and provided scrub colors. Weekend and holiday rotation required, with call responsibilities discussed during interview. No floating required; shift times are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week on a 4-week rotation.
