This opportunity is seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist with Cath Lab experience to support a busy catheterization and vascular lab in Concord, NC. This contract role offers a structured 10-hour day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, focusing on high-acuity cardiac and vascular cases in a Level III trauma teaching hospital recognized for clinical excellence in stroke, chest pain, and bariatrics. Key Responsibilities: Circulate and monitor patients during catheterization, electrophysiology, and vascular procedures. Function independently in blended lab settings, including Cath, EP, and Vascular labs. Utilize strong IV skills and sterile techniques, with ability to titrate medications including pressors. Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond effectively to emergency codes. Collaborate closely with Cath Lab leadership and multidisciplinary teams. Operate and interpret multiple advanced technologies, including EPIC EMR, Philips monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Merge Hemo/Siemens imaging systems. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; first-time travelers welcome. Current RN licensure with BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in a blended lab (Cath/EP/Vascular) highly desired. Proficiency with EPIC EMR and cardiac catheterization procedures. Ability to work independently and maintain composure in high-pressure environments. Willingness to participate in department call schedules and weekend rotations as needed.
