Job Description Job Description Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1 year of Cath Lab experience. A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Technologist skilled primarily in Interventional Radiology procedures. This role focuses on assisting providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures in a combined IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP lab setting. Candidates with strong scrub, circulate, and telemetry capabilities and at least two years of experience are highly sought after. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience with 90% IR exposure Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS/RCISP Skills: Scrub, circulate, telemetry, and EKG lead placement strongly preferred Preferred certifications: ARRT Advanced, RCES, RCIS with medical experience Ability to start directly on the unit on Mondays until completion of Dimensions training Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, performing procedures such as PPM and ICD implants Responsibilities: Support urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures as part of a three-person call team (including an RN) Assist providers in diagnostic and interventional proceduresprimarily in IR (80%) and cardiology (10%) Adhere to strict onsite attendance policiesno work-from-home or holdover time off permitted after booking Maintain rapid callback response times (30 minutes for STEMI cases) Scrubs provided; medication administration performed by RN only Work Schedule: 40 hours per week; MondayFriday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (five 8-hour days) Weekday call twice for two weeks per month (4 PM to 7:30 AM) One weekend call per month on a rotating basis (Friday afternoon to Monday morning) Rotating equitable coverage to meet departmental needs; no float requirement Every third weekend scheduled work This role offers the opportunity to advance technical skills in a high-acuity, technology-rich environment with cutting-edge equipment such as GE and Philips labs, Angio Jet, and advanced ultrasound units.
