Job Description

A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to perform critical imaging procedures in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. This role requires specialized skills in imaging and catheterization technology to assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain catheterization laboratory equipment and imaging devices
  • Assist physicians in performing cardiac catheterization and angioplasty procedures
  • Monitor patient vitals and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
  • Troubleshoot and operate advanced imaging systems to capture accurate diagnostic images
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist with proficiency in imaging techniques specific to catheterization lab procedures
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist is preferred
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and catheterization equipment
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic clinical environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
