About the Job

Cardiovascular Specialists of New England is seeking a detailed Cardiac Technician. You will perform various duties such as patient preparation for stress testing, EKGs, mobile cardiac telemetry. You will report directly to the Office Manager. 

What youll do:

  • Preparation of patient for stress testing procedures, including patient interviews, medical history, and providing patient education related to stress testing procedures.
  • Assess patient vital signs and establish peripheral intravenous (IV) access. 
  • Obtain baseline 12 lead EKG and monitor patient 12 lead EKG during stress testing.
  • EKG for office patients
  • Application and patient education on mobile cardiac telemetry devices
  • Other duties as assigned

    • What youll need:

  • Prior experience in a fast paced hospital and clinic based in cardiology
  • Experience and competency in starting IVs, placing EKG leads and interpreting EKG rhythms.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Current certification and/or licensure showing knowledge and skills required.
  • Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and CPR certification required.
  • Knowledge of fundamental theory, principles, practices, techniques and equipment used in all aspects of electrocardiographic testing.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in all areas.
  • Able to work independently in high pressure situations.

    • Work Location: 
    You will work out of Manchester, New Hampshire or Londonderry, NH office based on needs of the offices.

    Additional Information 
    Full-time base hourly rate of to per hour plus medical, dental, and vision.
