What you’ll do

  • Personal care (washing, dressing, support with routines)

  • Preparing meals

  • Companionship, conversation and reassurance

    • This is not rushed care — visits are meaningful and relationship-focused.

  • £13.25 per hour

  • Guaranteed minimum-hours contracts after training

  • Paid travel allowance between short gaps in visits

    Typically worth around 10% extra paid time

    Travel time is not taken out of your hourly rate

  • Mileage paid at 45p per mile after the first 10 miles each day

    • 👉 This means you’re paid for more of your working day, not just the time inside a client’s home.
