Role Overview:

This position plays a key role in driving the intellectual and strategic backbone of the Career Guidance Centre. The position involves conducting high-quality research, supporting the development of scalable guidance frameworks, and assisting in the creation of blueprints and documentation to ensure the CGC’s impact and innovation remain future-ready. The associate also provides strategic support to the Executive Head on special projects and institutional priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Development

- Conduct in-depth research on global trends in higher education, emerging careers, and student development models.
- Benchmark best practices from leading institutions and integrate insights into the CGC’s framework.
- Develop reports, policy briefs, and presentations to inform strategic planning and design a CGC framework for school.

Strategic Framework Design

- Collaborate in designing, testing, and refining career exploration frameworks, workshops, and guidance models.
- Assist in creating scalable and replicable models for cross-campus implementation.
- Support the documentation of CGC best practices, processes, and success stories.

Executive Support & Special Projects

- Provide strategic input and coordination support to the Executive Head on pilot programs, evaluation systems, and institutional collaborations.
- Assist in internal reviews, audits, and impact measurement processes.
- Prepare talking points, reports, and documentation for meetings.

Knowledge Management

- Organize and maintain a knowledge repository of research material, reports, and frameworks.
- Curate tools and resources for the CGC team and students based on current trends.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Public Policy, Management, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in academic research, education innovation, strategy, or institutional planning.
- Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in research tools, document design (MS PowerPoint, Canva), and Google Workspace and Power Bi.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate effectively.
