Garone Construction Corp is seeking a dependable and experienced Carpenter Helper to support our finish carpenters and mechanics on high-end residential projects across Manhattan. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, the ability to cut materials precisely, and experience assisting with various carpentry and general construction tasks. You’ll work alongside skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead carpenters and mechanics with high-end residential construction tasks.

• Cut wood, trim, and other building materials accurately and efficiently.

• Set up, organize, and clean job sites and tools.

• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as directed.

• Follow directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and clean job environment at all times.

• Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude on-site.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in carpentry or general construction.

• Ability to safely and accurately cut wood and other materials.

• Familiarity with assisting in framing, drywall, flooring, and finish carpentry.

• Punctual, reliable, and professional in appearance and demeanor.

• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to commute reliably to job sites in NYC.
