$77,000 – $80,000 per annum + superannuation

About the Role

ALJAWFI HOMES PTY LTD is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team in Roxburgh Park, Victoria. This is a full-time ongoing position involving on-site carpentry duties across residential and/or commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong workmanship, attention to detail, commitment to WHS compliance, and the ability to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be expected to:

  1. Perform general carpentry duties including framing, fixing and fit-out works
  2. Measure, cut, assemble and install timber and related construction materials
  3. Install and modify timber components, fixtures and structural elements as required
  4. Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
  5. Operate hand and power tools safely, efficiently and competently
  6. Ensure all works comply with relevant Australian Building Codes, standards and WHS requirements
  7. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
  8. Keep work areas clean, organised and safe at all times
  9. Work independently and collaboratively with site supervisors and other team members

Skills and Experience Required

To be considered, applicants must have:

  1. AQF Certificate III in Carpentry or equivent, or
  2. At least 1 year of relevant carpentry experience (Must)
  3. Proven ability to read and work from plans and instructions
  4. Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction techniques
  5. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  6. White Card (mandatory)
  7. Ability to work full-time on-site in Roxburgh Park and Sorrounding Areas.
  8. Australian Citizen or Australian permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
  9. Temporary Visa Holder must have full working rights.
