Job Description
HANAC, Inc. – originally founded by George Douris as the Hellenic American Neighborhood Action Committee – is a New York City-based multi-faceted social services organization. The organization was founded in 1972 to serve the needs of vulnerable populations throughout New York City.
The Case Manager of the NORC program will assist the Program Director to manage the operations of a social services information, referral, and assistance program that emphasizes benefits and entitlements to eligible members of the community.
Rate of pay: $21.00 per hour
Work Schedule: M-F 8am to 4pm
Location: 33-34 Crescent Street, Astoria, NY 11106
**Bilingual preferred but not required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Direct provision of case management and case assistance to client.
+ Excellent communication skills including oral and written with the ability to work with clients in crisis.
